The month of May brings two monster events to the Circle City: the Indy 500 and the Mecum Auction. Again this year, Motor District owners got an exclusive peek behind the curtain with a tour of one of the biggest automotive events around at BackStage@Mecum.
After our expert guide showed us the highlights of the Mecum process, we were left to our devices to explore a wonderland of over 3,000 collectible cars and trucks. From solid-axle Corvettes, to E-Type Jaguars, to classic Lincoln Continentals and even more than a few exceptional Ferraris, there was something for everyone. Did any of these rare machines find their way into a garage at Motor District? One can never tell.
