On Saturday, June 13, Ferragosto! returned to Motor District. After a stormy week, the clouds parted, giving attendees a picture-perfect day for a car show.
And what a show it was. The plaza at Motor District is the perfect spot to display exotic European automobiles. Arrayed around the central greenspace were nearly 70 examples of Italy’s high-performance machines in every color of the rainbow, each with its own unique story to tell. Even standing still, it was not hard to envision them racing around the narrow, winding roads of The Old World at breakneck speed.
If that wasn’t enough, Big Hoffa’s Smokehouse was on the scene, providing attendees with its unique take on barbecue. Music, not the kind produced by the exhaust note of these exotic automobiles, also brightened the mood.
Ferragosto! was a smashing success, and we hope that Motor District can host this great event next year. Until then, Ciao, all’anno prossimo!
