Motor District was the place to be on Sunday, April 26. A little after 11:00 that morning, a group of enthusiasts set off on a 90-minute journey through the backroads of Hamilton, Boone, and Clinton Counties for the Spring Fling 10000 road rally. In Porsches, BMWs, Audis, Corvettes, Jaguars, and other performance cars, off they went to Kirklin, Sheridan, Arcadia, Cicero, and all points in between, along picturesque backroads and historic byways.
They returned to Motor District for a delicious lunch provided by Big Hoffa’s BBQ. Music was provided by Chris Trowbridge, playing classic rock songs everyone knew and loved. After lunch, there was plenty of tire-kicking and conversation about the merits of each marque. Some enjoyed a guided tour of the complex and realized they, too, might find a new home for their automotive passions at Motor District.
